About this listen

I shouldn’t have let him blackmail me.

Now look at us.

Nicole:

I couldn’t believe it when my mom married Wolfe Knight’s dad. He’s the school bully, and he’s my best friends ex. He destroyed her, and I can’t stand him. But then he discovers a secret of mine, and I’m at his mercy.

He’s brutal.

Yet beautiful.

He’s also off limits.

Wolfe: I have no time for women unless they’re doing something for me. Even then I’m bored. So when Nicole Harrington moves into my world, I decide to make her life hell. Her dirty little secret gives me ammunition to control her in as many ways as I can, and I intend to.

Dark, dangerous, action packed, passionate, angry, Linzvonc has packed it all into this first book of the Archer High series. Wolfe is a bad boy and he wants his stepsister, Nicole. Innocent, feisty, he goes right after her, thinking he will ruin her. But he is in for a surprise. Despite the forbidden nature of the relationship and the prohibition by their parents these two find a way. But the danger is truly coming, and no one sees it until it may be too late. Will Wolfe finally be seen for the man he really is? I loved this story, not because of the couple, but because of how Nicole saw Wolfe for the man he truly is. It's definitely spicy, and exciting, and now I need the next book to see what happens next.

JF Harding and Avery Caris are perfectly cast for this new adult story. Harding is Wolfe, bad boy all the way. His voice can give that dark and dangerous feel and turn on a dime into a sensual passionate man. Caris is Nicole, stubborn, loving, and loyal and she creates an amazing character with her voices. . These two are made this listen and I enjoyed it.

Dark and exciting!

A previously read this book on KU so couldn’t resist the audio and boy I wasn’t disappointed. Wolfe is a beautiful morally grey MMC that takes no prisoners. The FMC Nicole is so innocent in the beginning and Wolfe definitely brings out her wilder side. The hurt throughout this book was heartbreaking, really felt it. Very well performed and hot to listen too. Wolfe’s side story about his mother was honestly heartbreaking.Highly recommend.

Love a morally grey MMC

This was my first of Linzvonc's books and what a brilliant introduction!
This dark taboo romance is intense, well paced and spicy AF.
I listened to this on audiobook whilst doing my house work and I was so engrossed I ended up listening from start to finish in one go.

Make no mistake Wolfe is an absolute A-hole in the beginning but will soon have you rooting for him as he comes to terms with his feelings for Nicole.

This contains all of my favourite tropes:
Enemies to lovers
Touch her and 💀
Possessive MMC
Badboy v Nerdy girl

As with any dark romance I always recommend checking the triggers but if you like your books with plenty of spice, morally grey men and a hard earned happy ever after then check out Wolfe.
