Spicy Taboo & Emotional
This was such an intense story! It was emotional and complicated, full of a heartbreaking past and careful lines. It was hot & taboo, but with a bit of suspense & a twist that will leave you shocked!

Taboo romance with spice and suspense
Listen to if you like:
Forbidden / taboo romance, guardian / ward, age gap, alpha cop hero, so much spice, suspense and dual pov
This is the story of Maddie and Cal and how their love grew from guardian and ward to lovers. Their story is controversial and so full of tension, heat and love that you come to get some sense of how they fell for each other.
Q.B. Tyler knows how to write her spice and this story has so much! There's angst, soul searching, conflict, threats and suspense before we reach the end of this story.
The dual point of view worked really well for this storyline and added the perspective that was needed to understand the love between Maddie and Cal.
Maddie's story is heartbreaking and as the reader I really wanted to see her get her happy ever after. Just when I thought things were going really well for her, the sudden plot twist came and the added suspense took me completely by surprise!
The dual narration was very well done and both actors did a great job with their multiple parts. Their voices matched perfectly with the characters and I could really visualise each person.

QB Tyler is the best.

I love Cal & Maddie
Wow, I loved this book!!
I couldn't put this down. I just loved everything about Maddies character and all her sassiness, and I loved how protective Cal was so protective of Maddie.
Also, I never saw the twist coming, and It so emotional and really added to the story.
The narration in this book was so perfectly casted!! the fact that Christian fox is back and was so perfectly as Cal portraying his protectiveness and delivering the lines showing the struggle to resist maddie. Addison Barnes was new to me, but it will not be my last!! her voice was everything delivering the sassiness of Maddie and the flirtyness in her voice and the emotion. Also, both their little kids' voices were so cute!!
I can't wait to read more QB books
