About this listen

Being a romance writer means drawing inspiration from many things, and when I met Dallin, I knew I had the perfect muse.

He was everything women read about—tall, tattooed, and irresistibly delicious. Oh, did I mention successful too? He swept me off my feet and right into his bedroom where he awakened things in me, I had only ever written about.

He was the bad boy who rode a motorcycle, and I was the good girl next door, yet together we were perfect.

Or so I thought.

When he invites his childhood best friends, Trey, and Parker, to stay with us, I realize right away there is more than meets the eye to their lifelong relationship.

Dallin wants to share me. Amongst all three of them.

But there's more than that because it turns out they like to share each other too.

This was quite the journey and I just want Trey all to myself! But it was fun to see how she turned onto the idea so quickly.

The ending made me bump this up a star

Started out great, but I got annoyed.

Good read but book 2 was better. I didn't quite love the relationship dynamics as much as in Twisted Lace. But generally a good read and very spicy

steamy!

The story was ok. The male narrator acts the voices really well, the female ruins the mood as she talks very robotic, without emotion and speaks the words as though reading instead of acting so it’s really distracting.

Female narrator is irritating.

The FMC is manipulated into situations she might not fit into, thanks to Dallin; and the conveniently undisclosed emotional baggage from his past—which she accepts with almost no pushback. Why? Because she’s a romance author? Please!!!

I came in expecting a character-driven reverse harem partially centered on the FMC, who is the "the missing piece" according to Dallin. Instead, the story pivots and turns Trey into the emotional center of gravity—the de facto FMC. Everyone tiptoes around him, prioritizing his feelings above all else. That narrative choice completely derailed my engagement and left the core relationship feeling hollow.

Who's the FMC again?
