Vivian is a cultural specialist on the United Earth fleet ship Gorison Traveler. It’s the perfect job for someone who wants to learn everything about aliens. The only problem? The commander won’t let her anywhere near the visiting Ke’ters aboard the ship. The only way she gets a peek at the lizard-like race is when her brother opens a live camera feed during a meeting—a meeting that turns tragic when the Ke’ters attack the crew.

She’s horrified. Scared. The Ke’ters are murdering her people. Rushing from her quarters to get help from a control center, Vivian finds the station abandoned. It’s all on her to try to rescue the crew.

Brassi is a Veslor trader who picks up a distress signal from a nearby space vessel. The attractive female who contacts him looks terrified, and needs his help. He’ll board the Gorison Traveler with his crewmates, and fight the Ke’ters, but the longer he spends on the huge Earth vessel, the greater a distraction Vivian becomes. Brassi will do whatever it takes to save her…and to discover if Vivian’s his mate.

This is quite simply what I've been looking for since reading Laurann Dohner's Cyborg seduction Series ...

The storyline is gripping, the characters are wonderfully believable (even the bad ones) and the story moves at the right pace .

Seriously I am hooked, bring on the next one ...

Nice...until the mating scene! Ewww! Just...ewww. So not cool Ms Dohner. The sassy, kick ass women are always a pleasure to listen to.

Marvellous plot; great world building from book 1 of the series and fabulous MC’s. Vivian smart, feisty and determined, starts the initial saving of the ship (Gorison Traveler) against strict orders of her nasty boss. She then invites aliens who are virtually unknown to help her save the ship from the ‘uber’ nasty Ke’ters who are on a killing spree thru’out the ship. Brassl and his men come to the rescue. Ms Dohner is a master at building sexual tension between the MC’s and the story is so interesting that I listened at the default speed, instead of my usual x1.7 or x2.
Please please 🙏🏻 Audible, let us have the rest of the series of these great books which have all scored very highly on Goodreads.
