This book has a lot of past trauma and emotions. With a protective personality this Alpha also likes to take. A great performance.

I love that the main Dome is a strong female that doesn’t take shit but is sweet, kind and feminine at the same time. This book has all the KA special: alpha male, sassiness, drama, a lot of hot sex but, unlike most KA books, it also has a ton of BDSM and the main male character is an alpha submissive. I was utterly enchanted by their story and got hot and bothered by the sex scenes. The only way to make it better would have been to have a male narrator as well as the female.

Although it was a touch predictable, I loved it. Just the right amount of raunch to love, it hit my tastes perfect. A dangerous man but a man filled with love with no-one to give it to. Until our heroine comes along. Great stuff. The narrator made it come to life, rarely have I heard such a captivating voice, she had me on every word. Lovely story.
