I was not sure what to expect with this one but it was one heck of a good story and kept me entertained from start to finish. Sadie is trying to stay under the radar and have little communication with others so a library seems a great place to work but when the tall handsome stranger takes notice she is intrigued. It gets quiet dark and Sadie is taken by Kazimir back to Russia and held by the Bratva. Sadie and Kazimir are both broken and I think this is why they fit so well together.

Wen Ross was just AMAZING he kept the Russian accent so well all the way through. He never goes OTT with the female voice it's just enough. This is my first Jane Henry book but will be diving into more very soon.

A very enjoyable book told very well by Mr Ross.x

Jane Henry, holy smokes. I found this book to be intense. Wen Ross’ narration was great. I love it when the narrator just gives extra life to the author’s words. I was not able to put this book down.

Sadies & Kazimirs story...
I have to say, that I expected a bit more mafia vibes.

Also I think that in the end the story got really good.

The book got 4 instead of 3 stars because of the great narration by Wen Ross.

You know what you're getting with a story like this, and Jane Henry didn't disappointment. Wen Ross has a deliciously deep voice and his Russian accent sounded pretty good to me (and I've heard some shocking ones recently with other narrators!)! I'd have preferred a duel or duet narration, but if there had to be only one, then Wen is the right choice. The next two in the series have dual narration, so I'm looking forward to downloading them.

The only disappointment with this recording is that the narration was cut short half way through a sentence, two and a half lines before end of the last chapter, and completely excluded the epilogue, which was frustrating. If I wasn't following along with the Kindle book, I would have missed this completely. Feel a bit short-changed.

Wen Ross has one of the sexiest voices ever. when I first started and I heard his female voice I was like 😑. I couldn't tell the difference from his male and female voice BUT and it's a huge BUT I continued to listen and my ears must have adjusted to his voice because it sounded good. So if this is the case for you try giving your ears a chance to modify because it's a great book. If you're like me and like a hot bearish man doling out spankings (in your books) this is going to make you very happy. If you don't get it anyway because it's a lot more than spankings
