I’ve been in the mood to relisten to some favorite books later and this story was immediately at the top of the list! I honestly forgot how much I totally LOVED Kipp and Teddy. I can totally relate to their sense of humor, and their entire romance is just so sweet!

Just like when I first read the ebook, once I started this audiobook I did not want to put it down! Wake up married is SUCH a top tier trope when done well, and this story does it so perfectly with so much swoon & hilarious banter along the way!

I was laughing to myself at so many of Kipp’s one liners, the writing is just fantastic!

Kipling Delaney is having a fabulous time dancing his cares way, when Teddy rescues him from the dance floor and makes sure he drinks some water.
Teddy works at Elite 8 and is out celebrating Himbo’s retirement from the studios.

Theodore ‘Teddy’ Lavoie and Kip have met before via Nico who is Kip’s best friend and his boyfriend Dix who works with Teddy. They spend most of their evening together chatting and flirting, and when they leave together everyone assumes it is to hookup. When they wake in the morning they both find wedding bands on their fingers.
Panicking, Kip cannot get this marriage annulled as he doesn’t want to disappoint his awful family.
They decide to play the game of staying together and then go their separate ways later on.

The Elite 8 studios series from Emmy Sanders just keeps getting better and better. Teddy and Kip are both so incredibly well written. The writing is detailed and flows effortlessly.
Kip is sunshine personified, except when it comes to his vile family. Teddy has specific needs in a partner and finds the perfect one in Kip. The love these two have erupts off the page.
Nick J Russo has once again delivered a first class performance of bringing these two characters to life.
