About this listen

I don't like to be touched.

I'm the hacker-geek-goddess of the FBI. When I'm hiding behind my screen, I'm a safe distance from everyone; isolated, powerful. No man has ever touched me, but when I'm captured by Colombian drug lord Andrés Moreno, I no longer have the right to refuse. He's scarred and scary, and his cruel brother Cristian has tasked him with breaking me. I try to fight, but I can't escape his strong arms and harsh discipline. He demands that I accept his touch, and my virgin body can't help but respond to his masterful manipulations.

The longer I remain trapped with him, the more I come to suspect that I'm not the only captive in his brother's home. Andrés' scars go deeper than the wicked furrows carved into his flesh, his pain reflected in the dark demands he imposes upon me. His obsession is twisted and wrong, but maybe I'm twisted, too.

Do I want to be rescued from him? Or is he the one who truly needs saving?

This book was a bit of a risk for me as it deals with such harsh issues that are going on in the world. I must say that I really thought the book was very well written but I would of liked both pov in the story not a seperate book for each.

I thought it was well worth a credit and a listen it was a good book to say that I thought it was great leaves me with an un settled feeling as really nothing about a captive/ trafficking is great but it was a good book well written.

A hard book to say was great

I enjoyed the book. However, I didn’t find it very dark at all. Sam may have been abducted but she was never really tortured and everything that happened was kind of with consent, It’s more like a BDSM training instead of real dark romance. I enjoyed it as it was somewhat like 50 shades on steroids but it really lacked darkness.
The narrator was good but her male voices were lacking and her Latino accent was not good at all.

Not that dark but still a good story

I liked the story, but it was a little repeating. Specially the first 2-3 hours.
But I liked the ending.
Narrator did a good job.

Stimochold syndrome but dirty

this book is from the female POV and is narrated by Lucy Rivers who does a great job. (It's the second book (claiming my sweet captive that is narrated by Joe Arden, its the same story but from the male characters POV. I found it really helpful to listen to this book also as it helped to understand where his head space was at).
there's not a great deal of story to this book. An FBI agent is held captive and trained to become her captors sex slave with a hint of romance and a few elements of BDSM that some people may find uncomfortable to listen to, I found it a bit uncomfortable in this book but less so in the second once the understanding behind it was made clearer. however it may be triggering for some as most of her consent is forced in one way or another.

this book is in the female POV
