well I have to admit that this was not my favorite book, however I think that's more personal preference rather than a poorly written book or a bad performance. I liked the narrators for the most part the only thing that bothered me was the female voice of the male character when she was distressed, it sounded very whiney, the story was great I have no complains it was exactly what I was expecting no shortcomings on that part. overall I would and wouldn't recommend this book. it was great but not so much that I will be rereading it often.

I don't usually leave such honest reviews but I felt the story was let down by the poor narration. The producers chose to use the roughest cockney accent possible for the one MMC who had come from an impoverished background. This wasn't strictly necessary and was the most UNSEXY thing I have ever heard. Like Danny Dyer talking dirty...just NO! The FMC was okay until she did her impressions of the MMC which she read as if she was the first ever iteration of AI voice over. It was completely flat and emotionless. It could have been incredibly good with decent narration.
