Swimming prodigy, Lan Basin, discovers the body of swim team captain, Marko Pollock, face down in Morrissey's Pond. Frightened, he leaves to get help, but when he returns to the scene, the corpse is nowhere to be found. He is left confused and suspicious of all those around him.
