Simon has recently found a devil on his shoulder. A foul-mouthed murderous little psychopath that insists it is the personification of his self-doubt, and is only there to help.

But it’s not. ‘Little Simon’ is borne of chaos. It’s evil. It will kill, and cannibalize, and brutalize. It will do anything to take control of the body and spread its seed, to reproduce.

It will take everything Simon has and destroy it.

Simon Says is full of brutal violence and weird sex, cheap European lager, and a cold lamb pie which Simon himself suggests has the same mouth feel as pus. If that sounds unappealing, and well it may, you might want to give this one a miss.

Ash Ericmore’s debut novel is an extreme horror, painted with the blackest of humour. Consider this a trigger warning for just about everything.

This is definitely one of my favourites from these two. The story is on the darker side of Ash’s works and that is perfect for my taste. The comedic parts that ash seems to master with his books, give you small enough breaks to stomach the next horrendous acts that are bound to unfold. Really enjoyed everything about this one.

Kasper’s narration is this book is top notch as always. He portrays in the inner battle of the protagonist to a t. Every character he voices are individual and with their own personality, you really feel like they are different people.

Top work as always.

I would suggest this book to anyone who has enjoyed previous books be either party involved in creating it, especially if your looking for something dark, but also are a fan of dark British humour.

So twisted!!
