Lucy was seriously annoying at first—so much denial, it almost made me quit. But once the story found its rhythm, she grew on me. Torun, the sea lord, was pure swoon: protective, intense, and surprisingly tender. The narration brought their chemistry to life, especially in the steamy scenes. By the end, I was hooked—giant octopus and all.

Well this was a first. I usually listen on my phone when out and via Alexa at home. Alexa refused to read this book, told me to listen on my phone app. Is this a common thing?

Anyway, the book was quite fun, a lot tamer than you'd expect from Alexa's responce.
