In retrospect, it might not have been the wisest idea to hand in my V-card to a hot librarian I picked up at my mother's cocktail party.

In my defense, the man has a French accent, gray hair, and knows a lot about books. The cards were really stacked against me making good choices, folks.

I was probably naïve to expect a call after that, but when he didn't, it hurt to accept he didn't feel that same connection I did.

The story was great and spicy. The MMC was hot, I mean... Who wouldn't love a mid thirties academic librarian with a French accent. The narration gave me two different opinions, the voice for the FMC I didn't enjoy so much especially in the beginning but then grew a bit on me. The voice of the MMC, sent me places! I kept wishing for his chapters just to hear his voice again...

Having already read and loved the book... the audiobook version did not disappoint!

The age gap romance story was brought to life so well by the narrators... and the French accent lol.. amazing.. really enjoyed re visiting Ellis and Jo' s story !
