I knew virtually nothing about surfing so this was an entertaining read. Lots of facts about surfing that I hadn’t even thought about were described well. In fact, there was a lot of description and minutiae in the story, some of which was probably not necessary.
However, it was an interesting plot and I know more about surfing than I did yesterday!
Quite honestly not over keen on the narration. Found the voice a bit hard - but I’m English so that may be a regional difficulty and not necessarily a problem for anyone else.
