Fascinating & well-read.

Originally I had a diff voice in mind for the male protagonist but both readers were superb. The menace, the sense of danger, all were beautifully conveyed. Glad I chose this audio book.

This book is filled with twists and turns. Posy is the unwanted, her uncle betrayed the families and was dishonored. Dario Is the money maker for the mafia ,he is lacking in empathy and a complete psychopath.
Your feel the heartfelt emotions. With some steamy romance.

I was not prepared for how intense this starts off.
It’s a dark and beautiful story. Both Posy & Dario learn a lot about themselves. There’s betrayal and then there comes vengeance.

4.75 Stars So I fell for the Tiktok hype once again and once again it didn't do me wrong. Is Dario a nice guy? Absolutely not. Is this one of those "I hate every body but her" AND "touch her and you're done for" books..at the same time? Heck yes it is. And honestly if I hadn't needed sleep at 4.30 this morning, I would have finished this last night. I was obsessed from page one and while there was times when Posey bothered me, I loved the dynamic between Dario and Posey. Also I really connected with the writing in this. Will be reading more from this author for sure
