This book has everything you need in a bully romance. There are triggers so be careful, however I thought this author wrote very well and compassionately. I can’t wait for the next book. A brilliant performance.

Piper is the girl who always has a book in her hand and has several names people call her at school but when she defends a young woman her life changes in a heartbeat. Kai is the big man on campus and has been one of the countless bullies of Piper but that all changes when she saves his sister from an attack. Piper wanting to not be a victim anymore finds a gym and decides to become stronger and meets Liam. Liam and Piper have a nice friendship which seems like it will develop into more but Kai is the one on her mind. Great book not going to ruin the ending but I can not wait to get to listen to book two I want to know what happens next.

This is a thrilling read Piper morphs from a shy book worm into a warrior. This is an emotional read. Pay attention to the trigger warnings. I enjoyed this story and the characters involved and hope the next book comes out soon.

Amazing narration from Anastasia Lynne, who brings the emotions, drama, angst and twists all to your ears.

Piper has always been a shy bookworm. Kai and his friends have bullied tormented her. All changes when Piper saves Kai's sister from an attack. Kai sees there is a more to Piper and starts to show her respect. just wants to be left alone.
We watch Piper grow and becoming confident in many ways, we see the sexual tension grow between Kai and Piper.
We have flawed characters, revenge, secrets, betrayal , trigger points and a cliff hanger that will leave you wanting more.
