I’m target number one for the bullies on the football team. I wrote an article in the school paper daring to say that some of the athletic funds should be spread around instead of every dollar going to them.

But this is Texas. And this town is football Mecca.

"Beast" aka Elijah was asked by his best friend's younger cousin to help her from getting bullied by her high school football team. She is a senior and 18 so that is ok. It is not really specific on the of him but at least a few years. This short story audio book was interesting in voice whom I liked. Funny and possessive man that he is was good to hear the plays he made on the field. Steamy, 2 hourish read. no cliffhanger.

Ali is being bullied because she dared to voice her opinion that maybe other sports should have a portion of the sports funding rather than football and in her small town, this put a target on her back.

Three months away from graduation, she couldn't ignore the bullying anymore, when she goes to her estranged cousin for help (town super star with an amazing football record) she is instead found face to face with Elijah her cousin's best friend an ex high school football player that has never been matched and has the nickname 'the beast' he is also her first crush. These two have instant chemistry and she gets a beast alright both in and out of the bedroom.

Super cute, fun and fire hot story with great dual narration.

This was a really good short book. Ali was being bullied when she wrote an article for the school paper saying that athletic funds should be evenly distributed instead of giving it all to the football team. The local newspaper also printed her story. She was horribly bullied by some of the guys on the team. She goes to her cousin's house and Elijah, her former crush, opened the door. Turns out it was his house. He was obsessed and possessive as soon as he sees her. He agrees to pick her up from school so everyone will see her with him and boy do they (he was a former football star at the school). He gets even with her bullies on the football field. When Ali goes to her cousin for help and meets Elijah her his cousin's best friend she asks for help dealing with her school bullies, she gets more help than she ever thought possible. Elijah is a strong protective alpha who falls for Ali as soon as he sees her.
This is an insta love read with plenty of steam.
The duel narration is excellent.

Ali was being bullied at school and went to her cousin for help. When she arrived at his house his best friend and her secret crush, Elijah, answered the door. One look and Elijah knew Ali was his one! It was love at first sight. He helped Ali with her bullying problem, she was his and he wanted to love and protect her forever. Hot, sweet and steamy, Elijah was OTT obsessed with Ali. Their chemistry was amazing, there were very steamy scenes and lots of love. Beautiful story with a wonderful HEA.
