About this listen

Can their fragile, new love withstand the wrath of an ex who refuses to let go?

After ten years in a lonely marriage, Katherine Doyle scraped up the remnants of her self-respect and walked out. Except her ex, Bridget, would rather blow up her phone with pleas and threats than admit it’s over. If the woman would just let her go, Katherine could finally move on and find some happiness…even simply enjoy a little flirtation with the beautifully androgynous, blue-eyed blonde she meets in a coffee shop.

Proving marital infidelity is PI Natalie Barker’s stock in trade. But the moment she meets Bridget Hammond’s allegedly unfaithful wife, the more she’s sure she’s wasting her time. Katherine is a lovely, squeaky-clean breath of fresh air, inside and out. The kind of sweet beauty Natalie wouldn’t bother resisting—if only she wasn’t the subject of Natalie’s investigation.

Inevitably, Natalie and Katherine circle closer and closer until desire grabs hold and catches fire. But even if Katherine can forgive Natalie her secrets, the larger threat remains—one that could wreck more than just their love.

Best-selling author Melissa Tereze returns with another contemporary, age-gap, lesbian romance that will warm your heart well after the final tick.

This storyline is a touching beautiful romance that is tender and sweet, everything that they both wanted from a partner. A failed marriage and a failed relationship leaves themselves vulnerable until they meet each other and fall in love, learning to love and trust again. ❤
K. A. Walsh narration was sublime and captivating and just perfect. 🎶

This is one of Melissa’s best books in my opinion. The plot is brilliant and the characters well developed. Plenty of spice, a dose of angst, and lots of lovely moments as the characters fall in love. I’ll definitely revisit this book again and again.

A favourite!

I wish I had not spent a credit on this audiobook ! I can't decide if it was poor narration, poor writing or both !
The narration is definitely poor and half the time it was difficult to know who was speaking.
I think the story idea was a good one and 'very MT' it was just done badly !

I wish....
