About this listen

I wasn’t supposed to feel this way about him... the man dating my sister. But no matter how much I try to focus on other women, my mind keeps circling back to him. It started as unease, an itch I couldn’t scratch, a feeling that there was something off about him. Then it grew... an obsession I couldn’t control.

Secrets aren’t meant to come into the light, and monsters should stay under the bed. I thought I was smart enough to keep my distance, but with him, logic vanishes. There’s no sense—only madness.

The deeper I dig, the darker it gets. He’s not just a man with secrets...he’s something much worse. And I’ve made one fatal mistake...stepping into his world.

Now, it’s not just about uncovering the truth. It’s about surviving it.

Wow, what a dark and twisted ride, a thrilling and depraved erotic horror that may take you out of your comfort zone and definitely blow your mind. Ren, a brilliant-minded serial killer who reminds me of Buffalo Bill and Hannibal Lector from “Silence of the Lambs”, only kinkier and possibly more depraved. An attorney by day and an artist by night, when he is not working on his art, he is on the hunt or planning his next project, and brother and sister, Byron and Gabriela, became his next obsession. Byron shares a special bond with his sister, and when his prison sentence ends, he moves back in with her. He is very protective of her, and when her new boyfriend, Ren, comes into the picture, he gives him bad vibes, and senses he is playing them. Rightfully so, because Ren is playing them, dating Gabby to get Byron, and then he does, but not in the way you would think. Luna K. Wicked takes you on a wild and yes, wicked ride, one that will get your heart pounding and take you to the edge of your seat. There is never a dull moment in this book, a cleverly plotted story with drama, angst, horror, twists and turns, erotic and deranged kink and an ending that leaves wanting or rather needing more.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing Audible listen, performed by Joe Arden, Corvin King, and Mia Moreno, who did an incredible job voicing these characters. Their portrayal of these characters was spot-on, each embodying their character completely, bringing out all aspects of their personality. Arden nails it as Ren, playing the psycho killer, raw and real, and very moving, and King did the same for Byron and was just as brilliant in the role. Moreno performed all the female roles and nailed each one, but her take on Gabriela and Ren’s wicked mom was perfection, and her talent truly shined in her performance. This cast delivered a breathtaking performance, an entertaining performance that keeps you hooked and takes the story to another level.

Painter's Obsession: Volume I by Luna K. Wicked is a MM psychological horror erotica that I listened to on audio narrated in duet by Joe Arden and Corvin King, featuring Mia Moreno.

This is definitely one of those books I don't want to give any spoilers away. So, I will just say OMG this book pulled me in from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to see how it was all going to play out.

I originally read the book when it was first released and was so excited when I saw the announcement that it was coming to audio. Joe, Corvin, and Mia did an amazing job bringing this story to life. They couldn't have casted this book any better.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a MM horror erotica.
