The story was good but it could’ve been great. The ending was rushed and unsatisfying, after all the Pilar crap she essentially gets a pass on her hate campaign against Violet, there’s no closure between Ryker and Pilar, Frederick remains clueless as to Pilar’s scheming and Violets storyline with her attacker is just mentioned and never developed. 😑 Meh

I personally prefer a male voice to interpret the male character, otherwise the book is good

I love Monica Murphy’s books but not this one, from the start you know how the story is going to play out, the sex is put in a very coarse way and I found it effective because no woman should tell a man he owns hers. I hope books 2 and 3 are better.
