I absolutely love shifter stories. The way they mate is so deep and the sex between them is always steamy and undeniable. I am always willing to try a new author in this genre. This story is a bit drawn out but the intrigue and suspense kept me going. The storyline really peaked my curiosity and makes me want know what will be next in this mysterious town. I have to mention some memorable lines from this story.
"Your smile made me like I was flying, I wanted to soak it up forever"

"Be the size you want to be and don't worry about changing for me"

"My queen doesn't beg, I'm simply her willing servant, here to give her everything she desires, I don't want you to o beg, I want you to be my lioness, I want you to demand that I serve you, to allow me to worship you"

All in all, this was a memorable read and the narration was good too. I recommend 👌

I have previously read the book, but hearing it as an audiobook was a different experience. Racquel did a great job. narrating and she did well with the voices of the male characters. I loved the confidence and realization that Ariana had later on in the story. Elle M Drew did a great job representing a plus size character!
