I don't know what to expect in terms of writing style from Ms. Miller, this novella is a good start to the series and was written on Brynne's POV. I am intrigued. Grace Grant narrated this beautifully and the ending left me wanting more and I'm very eager to start the next book.
Shane East's narration of the prologue...what more can I say he always delivers a performance that is different every time, capturing every character's personality he performs to a tee. Ethan Blackstone is no exception, Shane had me at prologue, he encapsulated Ethan's personality, thoughts and feelings in the first 2 minutes 35 seconds of the book to perfection. A must listen.
