I originally picked up the audiobook for narrator Michael Lesley, but the narrative completely hooked me. Lesley delivers pure, raw emotion, bringing every character to life with heartbreaking vulnerability.
Though heavily steeped in pain and sorrow, the story always keeps a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. I became so attached to the characters that I just wanted to reach into the book and give them a huge hug.

This books was so sad and so beautiful at the same time. Love it, cried my eyes out at times. Touched me very deeply. Dex and Jonah found each other in their dark, violent, loveless reality and manage to create this connection, healed each other with pure unconditional love.

This was a beautifully written book and WOW Michael Lesley as Dex in particular is absolutely incredible! I could listen all day long. But is it just me , because I found “Devil” to be beautiful from the beginning. Not a devil at all. I read and listen to a lot of Mm romance and dark romance and all sorts ranging in extreme to funny and some that are both but Dex is one of the sweetest characters I’ve come across. I loved Dex and liked Jonah but I’ve re read the description of the book and It’s abit misleading in my opinion,because as I say in my title he’s much more Angel than Devil. That being said a special book, narrated beautifully . ❤️

I really, really enjoyed the plot of the story. I thought it would be a dark romance because of Coyote/Devil but it was actually a dark romance because of Jonah.
Both boys are absolutely broken and I love how they become each other's home. I'll be thinking of them for a while...especially Dex 🥹
I loved that there was good consent and safe words and gestures.
I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series when they're added to audible.
Michael Lesley narrated it fantastic other than Devils voice changing in between POV's but I got over that eventually.
If you like dark but not abusive then this may be the book for you.
