Is the line between love and hate just one sonnet away?
Financial auditor Micah Mila is used to being the bearer of bad news. But her latest assignment in the local university's English department has been especially taxing, no thanks to a particularly infuriating literature professor. Luckily, she has an after-hours escape: reading spicy Shakespearean fanfic.
Professor Aidan Scott is damn good at his job. But Micah has been a thorn in his side since he laid eyes on her – eyes that really like what they see. But with his job on the line, there's no room for distractions. At least, not beyond the sexy fanfic he secretly writes.
When Micah discovers the man getting under her skin is the writer heating her up, their hate turns into something steamier. But with Micah's audit due and Aidan's career at risk, separating fantasy from reality becomes increasingly complicated…

They are equally talented and were able to match each other with their abilities to draw out the feistiness, the longing, the vulnerability and the passion between Aidan and Micah. I could not stop listening, its incredible.

The enemies-to-lovers tension between Micah and Aidan is so well done! It's sharp, frustrating, and completely electric. Their back-and-forth had me smiling one minute and desperate for them just to give in the next. The fact that they’re secretly connected through the very fanfic they both love and write adds such a unique and playful twist that makes this story stand out.
The Shakespeare-inspired elements woven with modern, spicy fanfic culture made this feel fresh and clever, while still delivering all the romance and tension you could want. And the chemistry, full of build-up, heat, and those moments that make your heart race.
This is the perfect mix of witty banter, slow-burn tension, and steamy romance, with just enough emotional depth to keep you fully invested.
If you love enemies-to-lovers with a clever twist, this one is definitely worth a listen.
