Okay book, easy on the mind and smutty on the soul.

A FMC lead, with multiple lust interests, RH, fast burn, paranormal monsters story.

I listen to this as an audiobook, tip for anyone who wants to do the same, speed up the playback. The narrators for me were too slow and it made the book feel choppy even during action scenes. So I listened to it at 1.2 playback and it was better. the male narrator was the main corrupt, slow in lines and too far a gap between words.
Once I got over that hurdle the book flowed better. There isn't much depth or building for of the world or characters. The plot is thin because of that, so I just accepted this was going to centre around the FMC and the MMCs. And it does, the smex enters very early in the book, the FMCs background is weak and I'm left wondering things like...what what with the sick bit, felt like more to it. Why did I feel minimal empathy for her, and her family situation. Theres not much darkness to her story, just unfairness.
Enter the monsters and instant smut, 3 years later and her unfairness is clear to see, and we get some bits of fearful moments for her...I didn't connect enough to care. Just coasting the story instead of being entwined in a world and lives of the characters.

Relationship wise it's easy, a little arsholeness but some sweet moments, sweet monsters. I liked the club scene...

Basically it's a easy read and I'm coasting enough to want more. Especially here for the smut, the shes mine, battle of lust easy love...and less for the plot now

Voices did not do the story telling any justice. I kept cringing when she did male voices & when he finally had a chapter, I couldn't continue. So bad.

Potentially good story, but extremely poor narration. DNF it was so bad!

hated the male narrator he took 4-5 full second breaks between sentences. but the women where good and so was the story

i trully disliked this one. The FMC is the biggest doormat EVER. The way she behaves makes it impossible to believe anything the author tries to write about her. Just not believable. I didnt like any of the characters.
