Masked Marionette by E. V. Olsen is a standalone erotica thriller novella. I have read/listened to by E. V. before and for sure, she has become a must-read author for me. While this book has no HEA, I have found the ending extremely satisfying.
Let's actually talk about this book, in a very short novella the author has created an amazing world, a plot filled with twists and turns and very interesting characters. Jasper and Adrian are well-rounded characters, with great development. The story starts in a private club and continues in a private room in a haunted mansion. It was hot, steamy, dark, and twisted. The paranormal elements have brought a different dimension to this story, giving it a very unique touch. If you are a fan of Crimson Manor, Phantom of the Opera and MM books this is the perfect combination of spooky, spicy and brilliant plot!
Audiobook: performed by J. F. Harding this was just wow, this audiobook will melt your panties off. He is a perfect chameleon of voices and performance!
Produced to perfection by Blue Nose Audio, this book is another masterpiece under their belt!

So I went into this book completely blind, and I ad so much fun, we have a Dom who has to sub and it’s a very spicy but spooky novella with so much going on in the background. I can’t wait to read the next book 😍

Masked Marionette by E.V. Olsen is a dark MM novella that I listened to on audio narrated by JF Harding.

This is the third book of E.V.'s that I have read and it won't be my last. I will say I went into this book blind and was pleasantly surprised by the horror aspect in the book. I don't want to give any spoilers away so I will leave it with that.

I downloaded the bonus chapters from Adrian's point of view and loved it. I really hope she will write more books set in this world.

JF did an amazing job on the narration. He does an amazing job bringing a story to life. He is a one click narrator for me and never leaves me disappointed.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a quick dark MM erotic horror that will get you ready for the spooky season. I also wanted to note that the book is not a romance and does not have a HEA.

What I just read???

I love an MM read, and iv been looking for anything with a
***There is NO happy ending.
This is not a romance. *** (as said in the blurb)
but I wasn't expecting that ending.

for a novella, this packed a lot, dives right in no holding back. It's spicey, mysterious, that twist. i didn't see it coming.
These men didn't know what they'd got them self's into until it was too late.

You never no who or what is lurking behind a mask.
