About this listen

Rebecca “Becky” Hightower

My best friend is tall. Athletic. Smart. Funny… Oh yeah, he’s gorgeous too. But I can’t go there. Not with Beau Stephenson. His reputation on campus has him as one of the good guys with a real chance to go pro. A headliner in the making. My mom made a lot of those as the first female assistant coach of the Chicago Sharks. I’m tired of being a tagline in my own life, so I’ve forced myself to keep Beau at a distance. After last semester's rollercoaster of emotions and only a few months before he enters the draft, I've decided I'm coming off the bench.

Beau Stephenson

I’m pretty knowledgeable about zones, but the friend-zone is a place I never wanted to be. Unfortunately, the most incredible person on campus placed me firmly and forever in the land of banished dreams two and half years ago. With just a semester left on campus, it’s my last chance to convince Becky we have a real chance to make a go of this.

She says it’s a long shot.

Can I convince her to switch from Zone D to more of a man coverage?

The 6th Man Series is a new adult romance that focuses on life as a college student. Topics will be appropriate to that age group; subjects may be sensitive so please heed the Heads Up at the start of each audiobook!

Sports, friends to lovers, and just the right amount of angst, Rosie P Burke delivers a story that hits all the right buttons. Becky and Beau have been the best of friends since they met. Always together, but never crossing that line.these two have insane chemistry. Things change though and their feelings take over. Love is in the air and life is great. That is until a turn has Becky questioning everything. Where does it all end? Beau is fabulous. He is sweet and attentive, loving her with his whole being. Becky loves him too, but is cautious when it comes to his future. Add in the teammates who have his back and the family ties give this story a feel of love all around. Full of spice and emotions, keeping me entertained and captivated the entire time.

Louise Cooksey is the narrator and she does a fantastic job bringing this story alive. Switching from female to male voices, she easily distinguishes the characters. Each scene builds on the last and the emotions drive high. It's a wonderful listen.

Great story and spicy!

I listened to the Audiobook of Man Coverage By Rosie P Burke and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is a best friends to lovers BasketBall romance.
Becky and Beau have been best friends for a few years but they both want more but do nothing about it.
Then Beau gets brave and decides he needs to let Becky know just how he feels and it goes better than he expected, because Becky feels the same as he does.
This story is a little bit different than the usual friends to lovers as they get together quite quickly..there is no prolonged back and forth or yearning.
Because the book is basically about their relationship as a new couple.
Becky and Beau become a couple quite easily and they fall into a relationship effortlessly, and intimately they are an explosive match...But there are challenges ahead as Beau has to think about his career as a Basket Ball pro,and Becky has to figure out what she will do,she is a model and photographer...Will sacrifices need to be made.?
I LOVED the friendships in this book too and the way they were all there for one another.
Rosie P Burke's writing is so descriptive and well thought out..I know absolutely nothing about Basket Ball, but I feel like I have learned something after listening to this story.
The Narration is soley done by Louise Cooksey and I thought she was Brilliant as both male and Female characters..She brought out ALL the emotions in every scene perfectly and I loved listening to her tell this story.
Man Coverage is a steamy, sweet and fun book about the transition from being friends to lovers and all the ups and downs that go with that and also trying to navigate a relationship when one of you is semi famous.
It is a great Audiobook and looks like it will be a wonderful series.
