I really enjoyed this book. I took a chance on a author I haven’t heard of before and I am really glad I did. I enjoyed listening to the story and enjoyed the performances of the narrators too.

This was a freebie on Audible Plus, and I thought I'd grab it before it comes off. To be honest, at first, I was really not feeling it. The story seemed confusing and disjointed, however, as the story progressed things became clearer and the story grew and had more merit. This is clearly a Stockholm Syndrome story but the back story is very strong and well written. Very tragic from most aspects, I grew to like the drip feeding of the incidents that occurred in the past, it made the story intriguing. A good read 👍
