The narrator chose to give Jewel an oddly robotic voice I did not care for. The novel also ends rather abruptly. I know it was never meant to be deep with plot but I expected a bit more of at the end. A small epilogue wouldn’t have hurt. Besides that, I enjoyed it. The guys were nice and the setting intriguing. Jewel is also likeable despite the unfortunate voice.
