Loved this but I couldn’t get passed the male characters voice. He sounded like a Disney prince and didn’t match the character at all

I got only 10mins into this book and I physically couldn’t listen to it any longer. I really enjoyed the first book in this series. The accents were a bit questionable but could be overlooked. This book however is an absolute atrocity to an attempt at an Irish accent, genuinely offensive. It’s a bit Irish/Scottish/American and even soviet in places. The thought of having to tolerate this nonsense for several hours was too much. This is the only book I have ever had to ask for a refund for on audible in 5+ years of listening. Try harder. Be better.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS ON AUDIBLE. READ THE BOOK - HORRIFIC and offensively bad attempts at accents
