one steamy read
Damn this book is steamy. I purchased this book through audible and felt that although the narrator was ok it really would have been so much better with a male narrator as well as the female. I’m not a fan of age gap romance. Reading about men in their 50s with beards and grey hair is something I would have thought would have been a major turn off in a book for me but this book had so much hype that I couldn’t ignore. I’m so glad I did because I really like the it. I knew from the start that there was something more to James but wasn’t expecting that. I can’t say much more without spoiling it but if your going to read this book then go in blind and don’t read the blurb. Enjoy x

Great Read!
Wow! I couldn’t put this away. It is the best listen I have had for a while. Say, yes is the follow up which was good too. I liked the narrator. I think she did a great job. I think Lucia Franco will be keeping my ears warm for a while.

Wow
I was pretty much gripped from the start. this story blew me away. the narration was amazing, although I would have loved to have heard a male narrator too. the passion, the heartbreak, what a roller-coaster. can't recommend this enough.

Disappointed 🌟🌟
The reviews are why I listened to this book.
Unfortunately I wasn't impressed. Aubrey is immature, I struggled with the drug taking the casual sex attitude. This story is about a college student who turns to sex work. One of her clients turns out to be her best friends Dad. She strings along her boyfriend while falling for her client. There seems to be little acknowledgement of the issue or downside to taking drugs and having unprotected sex. The lesbian scene with her boss (the madam) at the interview was pointless. Aubrey lies constantly throughout the story. I didn't find Aubrey to be a likeable Character.
The story is all about sex with very little story. Don't get me wrong I like Steam but even the steam couldn't save this story.
This story wasn’t an enjoyable listen.
