LC Taylor is a master at the novella, each one packing it's own punch. Hank is working on the ranch, and is taken with the live-in vet. But he has baggage that just won't allow him to love. Meghan has come to the ranch and settled in, she too feeling the chemistry between them. One night is all it takes for Hank and Meghan. Now running from his truth, and unable to face the future, Hank has to come to terms with his imperfect mistake. This may be short, but the story is full! The characters are great and the setting is just my speed. Growing up on a farm, it was reminiscent for me as Meghan took care of the animals. I love a book that takes me through the feels, and this one had me excited and passion filled, frustrated and thrilled. It's a fun ,quick listen! Narrated by Logan McAllister, he brings it all to life.
