Raven is a scientist that is looking to make a permanent suppressant to stop people from sexual urges. She is trapped in the wild and has no drugs on hand and goes into heat. This book is full of sex and drama and of the men willing to do anything to protect their mate. Good Narration.

This was a great premise for a story: post apocalyptic, after a biological war has ended members of society are either 'alpha', 'beta' or 'omega' as dictated by their DNA, but living in colonies that medicate people to suppress the behaviours linked to their types.

I enjoy books with high heat, but the author seems to have forgotten a key thing about writing a sex scene: it should move the plot or the relationship between the characters forward. The plot seemed to be there to link the sex scenes, not the other way around. I found myself growing bored and impatient throughout. The only part I could consider remotely 'dark' is the rivalry that comes up towards the end, which is out of nowhere and a bit 'glossed over' and the first sex scene is a bit dub-con.

The narrators did an excellent job with what they had

This was a total First for me, the author, the male narrator, the genre the full on OTT sex! Not sure if I will be continuing with the rest of the series but maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️

The male narrator was great giving each male their own voice.

This is probably one of the most unique point of view between Alpha and Omega and it is HOT! Definitely a listen that needs to be done either alone or with headphones. Great listen!
