About this listen

Some creatures are fatally flawed. I'm a thrill-seeker, a gambler, and a thief—playing whim to my greed. However, my sins aren't what I have to fight right now...it's theirs.

Three men deemed too powerful and wrong to let live by our Council. They're too devious, too strong, too evil. An unhinged crazy incubus, an obsessive shape-shifting beast, and the Dullahan himself—scars, steed, and all.

Tricked, captured, captive. They plan to use my power and wield it as their own. I'm their golden ticket, their pot of gold. Kings, gods, and creatures have tried to use my kind, and these three monsters are exactly the same. They know that when luck is on your side, the odds are never even.

There's an unstoppable hitman on their back, and they need something that gives them the upper hand, a guarantee of success. And that something is me.

Author notes: This is a stand-alone urban fantasy romance with lots of love all around.

This was an incredibly hot well written book. The characters are all unique, which is something that I absolutely love when this happens. I started this book wondering where this journey would take me being a longer book and honestly i was surprised when it ended, it felt like no time had passed and yet i had been on this amazing set of twists and turns.

The narration gave so much personality to the characters, as well as highlighting the emotions and also building the suspense and interest. What a listen.

I am a huge fan of Beatrix Hollow’s work. The way she crafts her story’s I could swear they are inked with some kind of magic and wonder. From the get go this book sunk its claws in me, hooking me so much I hung off every word that came out of the narrators lips.

This book is extremely well done. It’s what a book SHOULD feel like. That spark, I always look for was there. The characters are so loveable, with so much depth and PERSONALITY. None of these characters are carbon copies from any other cliche template authors tend to fall in, every one of them felt real.

The interactions between them had me laughing and smiling from ear to ear. It may not be a really long audiobook, and yet they still stole my heart within mere hours.

I loved this story, these characters, the setting (the underground underbelly of the supernatural crime world was epic!) and the sandy desert casino vibes at the start was so intriguing and really set the scene.

The ending tied it up all nicely with a bow on top and left nothing unsaid. Beatrix Hollow, you’ve smashed it. I will cherish this story forever. ❤️

A story to cherish 💛🎧✨

WOW that was fun! I usually enjoy a good why-choose but this was absolutely delightful ♥️ As much as I enjoyed the writing and story overall, the dual style narration played a huge part in my love for this book. The accent work and very distinctive characters really brought me into the story and Michelle and Vincent did a fantastic job playing with the balance between full blown psychotic and slightly deranged and playful 😉

Flawed Creatures is a why choose, paranormal monster romance that was dark, witty, amusing, steamy, action-packed, and highly entertaining.

The story follows Lacey Flannigan the luckiest leprechaun alive and the three  'monsters' , (the Headless Horseman, a Flesh Eating Shapeshifter and an Icubus about to explode) who wants to use her luck to save themselves from assassination.

They were all flawed characters,  each struggling against their nature in some way or the other, and I loved that them learning to accept themselves, was one of the highlights of the story.

I found the use of Irish mythology and  even Chinese folklore quite interesting, and it all had me hooked until the end. I will admit the story started off a bit slow, but it did pick up, and there was never a dull moment.

The steam was scorching hott and included MF, MFM, and MM scenes and had some of the most unique scenes I've ever read.

The plot wasn't all steam, and the storyline was a bit outrageous, but I was fully entertained.

This was an enjoyable read, and I would definitely recommend it to monster romance lovers.

I listened to the audiobook version of this novel, which was narrated by Michelle Price and Vincent Skye. These narrators were fantastic.  They did an excellent job giving each character their own individuality. Their voices were distinct yet clear and understandable, and they both complimented each other perfectly. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.
