About this listen

Dmitri and Brennen have been happily married for five years, raising their five year-old daughter. Brennen practices law, and mob-free Dmitri works with his brother Mischa at their night club. Dmitri enrolls into some BDSM workshops with Master Ethan as his mentor.

Dmitri and Brennen should have everything they want with their marriage and their daughter, but Dmitri's old life has more demands to make on him. These demands will lead to secrets that threaten lives and families. I was on edge formthis one waiting to see how Brady could pull off a good resolution. Andrew Ladd did a wonderful job differentiating characters, holding the tension and bringing the story to life.

The last book in the series.

Wow, what can I say, a great book to end a series that I have enjoyed so much.

Brennam and Dimitri are still married, and we are five years on. Little Dominika is 5 yrs old, and life is good.

But Brina wouldn't end it like that, would she? No, she has to add twists and turns that none of us was expecting. Dimitri goes back on his word about being involved in illegal dealings, and he helps out his old friend Antonio. Brennam isn't happy, and this causes ripples in their relationship.

If you like a BDSM style book, then this series is for you. I still feel the need to take Bren home and keep him safe and far away from Dimitri. The man loves Bren even though, at times, he behaves like a monster towards Bren.

I feel sad that we are leaving this family after five excellent books. But as always, Brina is writing some more fantastic books for us to escape.

The narration was clear, but he had a well-written book, in my opinion. Well worth the read/listen. I did have to speed up this book to 1.35 on audible, like usual.
