One of the most beautiful stories performed by four of the world's best voice actors. I was surprised by how deep this story is and the emotions it invoked in me. Did not realise this story would touch me so much and have me crying! Mila Crawford has taken a piece of my heart.

This was a powerful story and I went in blind and I’m so glad I did.

The narrator’s for this were nothing short of amazing!!!

The only issue I had is there was a lot of clicking in the background which really pulled me out of the story.

Feral follows Azadeh, who has three very different but very loyal, dysfunctional men; all of whom would protect her and do anything for her.

After Azadeh’s mother loses her husband and Azadeh herself as a teenager gets lashes for showing some of hair escape from Iran to the United States; now she's older she commits her time helping those in need of an escape to safer places, but whilst she does this, she leaves her men at home waiting for her return.

Ezekiel is the son of a preacher who was happy to beat his son on a regular basis all in the name of religion resulting in him actually losing an eye, but Azadeh and Zeke met in school and form a friendship that continues into adulthood, but his life at 17 takes a dramatic turn for the worst, but in doing so he meets Cyrus Porter who is a burn scared sociopath and Levinston Cartwright, an emotionally stunted stalker worth billions who can’t stand to be touched.

Each of Azadeh’s men and her relationship with them is different as they all have their own personal demons and battles they fought through life to end up where they are broken souls that fit perfectly together.

The narrators for this audio were amazing but the highlight for me was James Cassidy, he absolutely blew me away with the way his emotional changes of direction and range of narration for this character brought every facet and complexity that is Levinston Cartwright to life. Lév has this special capability of ticking anyone off with the greatest of ease, but the emotion and vulnerability James brings to him is exceptional and now I’m a lifelong fan and will listen to anything he narrates.

This is a very dark and hard hitting audiobook but Mila Crawford’s telling to this story is not only emotional but thought provoking.
