But it does make you have to report to the owner and tell him of the multiple mishaps. This is the start of a steam and feisty adventure. Performance was very good. I love Mr. Thorn no matter what role be reads. Fiona is right behind him. Good storyline. no cliffs

Story: Lauren (h24), a new receptionist at a luxury mountain resort, has a disastrous day at work and visits her boss, Owen (H36), at his mountaintop home to let him know about the disasters, including an actual fire. The two are instantly attracted to one another and Owen wastes no time coming down the mountain to claim Lauren as his. Ultra-hot and steamy mountain man goodness in this romantic quickie with a side of humor and a healthy dose of OTT.

Audio: The narrators did a great job with this story. The audiobook uses two narrators, a male narrator and a female narrator – for me it makes such a difference to hear male dialogue with a male voice and female dialogue with a female voice. Tor Thom again does an excellent job with the tone of voice he brings to Owen (a nice deep and soothing voice) and other male voices, and Fiona Clare gave Lauren a voice that seemed to capture her character, plus she did a great job with supporting female voices.

In the "real world" almost nothing about this story would be realistic (idealistic, yes, but not realistic). It's SO insta and over the top, but it's utterly delightful for exactly those reasons. The narration was also really good. I loved the whole thing.
