First book in the series and I am enjoying the story. I love the his and her point of view and look forward to the next book to find out more.

The Narrator sometimes gets very wrapped up in the story herself and parts are much louder which I did not like. I like my books read rather than acted out. Apart from that she gave each character life.

I agree with a previous reviewer that it starts out slowly, but nonetheless this book pulls you in right from the start and makes you want to keep listening. I like to be hooked into a book in the first 10 minutes or so, starting to be curious about the main character and where the story might go, and this book certainly does that. It sets up a lot for the rest of the series and ends on a cliffhanger that's left me keen to know what happens next. The narration was great and suited how I saw the characters. Overall a good book and a good start to the series.
