Piper Turner is a cursed witch on the run from her own coven when she stumbles through a portal and into the arms of four unlikely heroes—a vampire and three shifters: a bear, a dragon, and a wolf-witch. Each of them instantly recognises her as their mate, which creates plenty of tension, especially with only a short window for them to bond.

The story is easy to follow and well written, with characters who feel both relatable and engaging. The plot moves at a steady, enjoyable pace and delivers plenty of entertainment. It’s a great fit for readers who enjoy steamy alpha shifters, strong heroines, and fast-paced paranormal romance.

The audiobook narration is excellent, performed by five different narrators—one for each main character. This multi-voice approach works beautifully and adds depth and immersion to the listening experience.
