About this listen

Leaving everything behind to move to England was difficult enough, but when I catch the attention of Alstone High’s bad boy for all the wrong reasons, things go from bad to worse.

He resents my position as the soccer team’s MVP, and that isn't even the worst part.

He’s figured out my secret.

He knows I want him, and he hates me for it.

But I can see right through Kian Courtland, and I’ve figured something out. Something that he won’t even admit to himself.

His secret?

He wants me, too.

Cross the Line is a stand-alone M/M new adult high school romance novella with enemies to lovers themes. This book contains mature situations and content.

Originally published in the Love at First Fright anthology. This novella edition has been revised and expanded.

This book was was quick listen, but it hit all the major points. The writing and the narration matched so well. That it added another layer of fascination for me. Amazing listen, and I enjoyed the character build up.

I adore Gregory Salinas!

Gregory Salinas did an excellent job voicing two entirely distinct characters. It was very easy to understand which character's point of view I was listening to and which character the dialogue belonged to. He also made the characters sound age-appropriate. The audio was really well done.

The story itself was appropriate for a novella. It detailed the beginning of a relationship with a bunch of steamy MM scenes. I appreciated that the novella length came from focusing on the beginning of the relationship rather than trying to rush through all the typical events that fill a full-length novel. I've listened to Becca Steele's The Four series, but Cross the Line is a complete stand alone.

Stand alone story, excellent audiobook

Cross the Line is a fast-paced M/M enemies to lovers novella. This is a standalone although we were first introduced to these characters in Trick Me Twice so if you like this book, you should definitely check out the other one as well. While I don't listen to a lot of M/M romance, I loved this one. It was short and sweet with low angst and likable characters. Gregory Salinas did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.
