About this listen

Tye and Carina are two somewhat seriously flawed characters. They reconnect after a 20-year separation and find they have little in common, aside from that little thing...their son.

Excerpt:

White. A symbol of purity...of goodness...of virginity. So few brides these days reserved losing their virginity to their wedding night, yet most brides still wore white on their wedding day.

Hypocritical, to be sure, Tye thought. But who was he to judge? Being that he was the very definition of hypocrisy.

Tye prided himself as a virtuous, Christian gentleman who valued God and family above all. But it'd been quite some time since he'd spoken to God. The Big Guy would no doubt have a few choice words for Tye. Such has "Stop screwing women you're not engaged to."

Tye couldn't recall the exact phrasing, but he was quite sure that somewhere in the Holy Book, God conveyed his distaste for sampling the menu before sitting down for the feast.

He sighed...deeply.

At least his fiancé would rightly wear white on her wedding day...a wedding day tentatively planned for a few short months from now, a wedding day he had yet to pen into his busy schedule...a schedule of...what?

Work?

Sex with strange women?

But he didn't want to be that guy. He always hated that guy. Now he was that guy. Actually...come to think of it, he'd always been that guy.

Damn.
