About this listen
Kai: When my best friend goes missing, it’s up to me to find him. There’s always been stories of people in Destiny entering the woods and never coming out, but we never thought it would happen to us. That is, until I walk through a cave and find myself stepping into a different world with no way home.
Nash: I’ve always believed my mate would find me. I just never thought he would come in the form of a tall, clumsy human who seems incapable of taking care of himself when he stumbles into my world. From the moment I set eyes on him, I know he’s mine. Now, I have to convince a man who insists he only likes human females that he’s an Orc Lord’s Mate.
Claimed by the Orc Lord is Book 2 in the multi-author series Orc Mate Selection. Expect high heat, a sweet himbo who goes through a shocking bi-awakening, and the Orc Lord who will do anything to make sure he has his mate.
While this book can be listened to as a stand-alone, the series is best listened to in order.

Honestly though, this was pretty much perfect if you want some sweet monster-lovin'. Both MCs were adorable, the smut was smutty, and it was genuinely fricking hilarious. I wasn't expecting that last one, and I very much enjoyed it. Could not stop giggling at some points. Low angst, high heat, and perfect for my mood. I very much enjoyed.

He went through a portal looking for his best friend Rainn but found his fated orc mate Nash instead.
Thankfully Nash has the patience of a saint because he definitely needed it for Kai who's straight and just wouldn't acknowledge the instantaneous chemistry between them.
I loved their snarky banter and that Kai wasn't a pushover.
Darren Draper did an amazing job narrating and bringing these characters to life.
PNR, fated mates
