I absolutely LOVED this audiobook, I read Burn for Me about 12 months ago and to have it brought to life through audio is absolutely incredible. The Narrators sounded exactly how I pictured them and did an amazing job. I highly recommend this to any dark romance lover that wants a MMC willing to break his own rules when he finds the one worth burning the world down for

My first book by Effie Campbell, and it is HOT! Ok, that was cheesy and this book is anything but that. Dark, dangerous and passionate, I was taken from the first scene and transported into the story. Phoenix lost not only his family, but his identity the day they were taken. Burned so badly, that he looked like a monster, he stayed in the shadows and became an fire starter. When he is commissioned to burn Laura's house, he makes the assumption everyone is already dead, but to his surprise, she is not. And immediately, he knows she is his. Laura wakes up in his home, scared, alone and hurt. Is she horrified by him without a mask? No, she is the only one who sees him for who he is. But even with that, he may not be able to keep her safe from the man who wants her dead. Where does it end? This is full of all the things I love! It's filled with horror and danger, and at the same time, it's loving and passionate. It's teasing and angry, and at the same time compassionate and spicy! I loved this story, and now I am hooked for whatever Effie brings next.

Francesca Peregrine and William Macleod are the story tellers and can they ever tell a story. This book is filled with all kinds of feelings and emotions. Peregrine is feisty and scared and loving as Laura. She deals with so much as she comes to see where life is leading her. MacLeod has his inner voice as Phoenix begins his rebirth. He is incredible at the pain he feels and love he wants to give. These two are amazing and together made for a wonderful listen.
