It’s been a while since i read a book where i had to take breaks and touch grass. Be warned this book is dark, and you should not skip those trigger warnings! I know some of us (me included) like to go in blind, but this is not such a book. It deals with some heavy themes as such may not be for everyone!

Did i enjoy it? Absolutely! First half of the book my heart was just bleeding out for our FMC. She was fierce but she went through so much and it showed in her behaviour. You will hate Luca/Bones in the beginning. But he’ll grow on you even after everything he did.

Now let’s talk narration because i did listen to the book. Joe arden and Amanda Willow did an amazing job. Joe’s unhinged laughter was highlight. It showed that he embraced Luca and portrayed him amazing! It was my first time listening to Amanda, and i liked her very much. She was able to portray Athena perfectly!

Overall i loved the story and narration and can’t wait to see what comes next!

4.5 ⭐'s, check the TW's before going in to these books there are a lot of sensitive topics that some readers/listeners won't feel comfortable with. I'm enjoying all the books about the Bonetti's, they're short easy listening with great narrators, whilst the MMC's are morally very dark grey, with questionable behaviour and are a little unhinged, they are possessive and obsessive, burn the world down kind of romances once they get going, most of the books are insta love/lust so they just crack right on with the story,
