Bones by Chelle Rose is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Amanda Willow and Joe Arden. This is the first book in the Bonetti Brothers series.

This is the first book of Chelle's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship between Luca and Athena. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Reaper to be released on audio so I can get Reaper and Arabella's story.

Joe and Amanda did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, mafia romance, captive romance, or forced marriage.

Giving this storyline a whole new dimension, which will keep the listener engaged and captivated from beginning to end!
Luca, performed by the talented Joe Arden. A magnificent, magnetic and truly inspiring performance. Gives this fantastic character subtle but powerful depths.
Athena, performed by the amazing Amanda Willow. captures her essence with a unique and beautiful ease. Giving us such grace and beauty of character! Just flawlessly portrayed.

from the top very intense that kept me glued and sometimes stop me dead in my tracks from heavy to enjoyable story that gips you in its embrace. I'm almost sad I have now know the story as I would love to hear it again soon

I don't know whether this story falls into the category of forced proximity or marriage of convenience tropes or both. Either way, from the very beginning, I was captivated and knew instantly I was going to like it. Athena faces very traumatic things and is still a strong character despite it all! Bones might not have realized it, but he needed someone like her. The two of them together bring out the best in each other. I wasn't sure where the story was going for a minute, but I was definitely not expecting the twist in the story and was so shocked!

BlueNose is quickly becoming one of my favorite audio production companies! The quality of the audio and the narrators was stunning.
