The narrator. Hardly any inflection used in the reading which makes the book hard to listen toWhat didn’t you like about Shirl Rae’s performance?
A very flat performance that did not bring the story to life. Felt like I was using a digital reader rather than listening to someone read the story which made it difficult to get into the story,Strongly advise listening to the sample, others may find it easier to listen

I have only managed to listen to half of the story. The lack of inflection in the narrators voice makes it difficult to get into the story. Amazon has had some good reviews though so I suggest listening to the sample first. Others may be better able to listen to the voice.Hard to listen to
