With Andros and Malek added to the mix, things are starting to heat up. Literally. Lana, Ezra, Gabe, Andros and Malek have to get it together and figure out how to convince everyone to work with them. I really need the next book to see where this war takes them all. LOVE the duet narration by Bridget & Jake Bordeaux.

More pieces fall into place and we get quite a bit more back story. Lana’s power grows and the bonds are completed. I am looking forward to the battles and spice that will come next.

This book just like the first seemed rushed and like it needed more explanation in parts and less in others. I liked the addition of a fourth mate but how he was introduced seemed strange and didn't have the best flow. I still like the basis of the story and I'll listen to the third book but I feel like overall the story needed more editing and remarks from beta readers.
