Narrator made a hash of male voices so that they were aggressive and grating .. Too sexually implicit .. Not enough story....

Compelled to read it all to see if it got better

I love this book. Blooming fantastic storytelling. Told from two POVs Mia's and Charlie's both married women who get involved in a complicated friendship. I loved both of them and Kit is just adorable.
If you are married, read this book. Even if you're not married, read it anyway. You've got to have an open mind though. The story is compelling and intriguing. I listened to the audio book in one sitting. Couldn't put it down. Did all my chores with it plugged into my headset.

I should add that the narration is absolutely faultless.

A keeper! I will listen to this again and again

Found this a quite enjoyable listen, story abit basic, and narrators voice was annoying especially when acting as the men in the book but nevertheless it kept me entertained for a few hours l...

Quite enjoyable...

Great story! Different from your usual but became hard to listen to with Laurences Bouvatds horrible 'male' narrated voices.
Why do female narrators feel the need to spit out male voices in that all to familiar grumpy snarky cutting tone?

Please stop. She sounded like the Prince Philip 'spitting image' puppet ...an absolute caricature with no dynamic.
Horrendous. (But the book was brilliant)

Killed by the horrific female narration of 'shouty grumpy' male voices

I should have read the reviews first, but had read some of Tess' earlier books an they were fine.

There was no sort but just a load of badly written sex scenes. The voices were totally grating; and the whole thing was a waste of time. Don't bother.

Badly written porn
