Having read the kindle edition of this book and finding it such a heartbreaking story,it took me a while to pluck up the courage to listen to this audiobook.
I still found the story hard to listen to, even though I have already read the story and know how it ends.
John Solo effortlessly brings Nora Phoenix's beautifully written story and the wonderful characters to life.Each voice is perfect for each character.
And, now that I have made it through this first audiobook,I am looking forward to listening to the rest of this brilliant series.

This is the first installment in the amazing irresistible omegas series. This is a great series with an amazing world building which starts in this volume. Meet all the great men who are the heart off this series.
The love between them is amazing. I highly recommend this book since it will bring you to an unbelievable world. The narration by John Solo is stellar as ever.

There's a really interesting plot and world building in this series.
I'd say it's pretty angsty. I was hurting for the characters at points.
Mostly caring alphas. Consent is important, though external forces do influence the consent.
It was hard to follow who everyone is with the unusual names and 3rd person storytelling for a large part of this book. I got it down for the second book.
I don't find the sex scenes particularly interesting, but they don't drag on.
Narrator is good.

I am so happy to have received this book for review. I love John Solo but he was not my first choice for this particular series. However, he did a pretty great job bringing these characters to life. I still contend that each of the books should have more than one narrator but, I always enjoy John Solo's performances and this was no exception.

Since it has been a while since I have read all the books in this series, I had forgotten how Nora managed to tackle issues about social norms even in this fictional world of Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. She did a great job portraying how each of the characters handles their particular roles in society. After listening to this book, I feel the need to complete the whole series again. Great job, Nora and John.
