I enjoyed the humour, particularly in the beginning. I always enjoy it when a book manages to make me lol.
The female lead, Dove, in this is really relatable. I love that she seems spiritual and talks about manifesting her desires from the universe.
The male lead, Ezrick, has that bad boy with a good heart vibe.
The monsters, mimica, are truly terrifying. They really freak me out and thats not easy to do.
im going to pre order the next one. i really hope we find out soon what the deal is with the temples and the goddesses. im massively intrigued by them.
