About this listen
Isolated by the dark secrets he carries, Grant Wilkinson, the damaged and decorated war hero, has always seen himself as a monster. He's finally getting his life on track by embracing the help he needs from Renata Koreman, the equally damaged little mouse.
André Chevalier saw Grant and Renata’s ragged edges as puzzle pieces that would fit flawlessly together. He made the right decision when he put the Monster and the Mouse together.
There’s just one problem: Did Grant murder his father?
©2014 Nikki Sex (P)2017 Nikki SexI loved delving deeper into the mind of Grant as he works through his issues with Renata his therapist back at his home. Grant has has to return back to Texas from where he first sought help from his initial therapist Andre, Renata who is his sexual therapist decided to return with him to support him to care for his brothers child as well as continue with his therapy. Here she learns much about herself personally as well as professionally as she supports Grant with his issues. Again this book will need further reading into book 3 as there will be some questions unanswered..... but their relationship blossoms and some of Grant heals and moves forward towards accepting he is not defined by his past!
I loved this but I like a little dark subject matter!
